The excitement was off the charts at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Edinboro when Grace and her squad got together to prep for the big day. As the girls added the final touches, we captured some precious moments, including Grace’s mom helping her slip into her stunning dress. Meanwhile, our talented second shooter, Captured by Kara, made sure to snap some shots of Matthew and his crew as they prepped for the festivities. We captured some amazing details of the day during this time as well!
Before the ceremony began, something truly unique and beautiful happened. Matthew and Grace carved out a special moment to pray together. Grace sneaked in through a back door, so Matthew couldn’t catch a glimpse of her in her dress just yet. It was a touching and intimate moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.
As the ceremony began, the couple chose a more non traditional approach and Matthew walked down the aisle to meet Grace and her father. He then escorted Grace up to the alter himself. The ceremony and church service continued as planned and I adored capturing it for them.
After the ceremony, it was time for family portraits and capturing some intimate shots of Matthew and Grace within the church surroundings. Every frame radiated the undeniable love and connection shared between them. And let’s not forget about the bridal party! We headed down the road to their venue, and started snapping some photos. I always make sure to get those standard posed portraits but I love using prompts for the bridal party. They brought a whole lot of fun and energy, making the photo session an absolute blast!
Nick’s Place in Edinboro was where the real celebration kicked off. The bridal party made a grand entrance, followed by heartwarming speeches and tear-jerking first dances. Each speech was a heartfelt tribute to the love and admiration that Matthew and Grace’s friends and family had for them. As the night went on, there was delicious food, a delightful cake cutting, and loads of dancing. Everyone hit the dance floor with gusto, making memories that would last a lifetime.
In the midst of all the excitement, we managed to whisk Matthew and Grace away for a quick golden hour session. The sun painted the sky with warm hues, creating a picturesque backdrop for this newly married couple. Away from the hustle and bustle, they had a moment to cherish each other’s company and revel in their new bond. The resulting photos were simply breathtaking, capturing the pure love and unbridled joy that radiated from them.
Matthew and Grace’s wedding day was an absolute dream come true. Love was in the air, laughter echoed through the venue, and unforgettable memories were made. I’m honored to be a part of their special day and capture the genuine emotions that unfolded. As Matthew and Grace embark on their remarkable adventure together, we wish them a lifetime filled with happiness, love, and endless adventures. Cheers to the happy couple!
